May's updates focus on small but valuable changes to ShortStack that allow users to navigate and build their campaigns faster. Here are some details.
Custom Design Services
Let a ShortStack designer build your next Campaign!
ShortStack’s pro designers have been building Campaigns since the company began in 2010.
Our designers know the platform inside and out and know which ShortStack features to include in your Campaigns to help you meet your goals.
Plus, we’ve designed and built creative Campaigns for clients in every industry.Whether you’re looking for a simple lead-generating social media Campaign or a complex, integrated marketing campaign with custom CSS, we can help you see results.
Updates to Share Widget
ShortStack's Share Widget gives visitors up to six different ways to Share a Campaign: via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn or Manually. You can configure a Title, Description, and Image to go along with the shares.
You can choose to use the Share Widget as a stand-alone widget so visitors can share your entire Campaign, or you can connect it to a specific widget so your fans can share more specific aspects of your Campaign.
For example, it's common for users to connect the Share Widget to the Promotion Widget.
Previously, when the Share Widget was connected to another widget and the user deleted the Share Widget within ShortStack, that connection would still exist on the published Campaign but would not work properly.
We've fixed this so that whenever you delete a Share Widget, we will automatically clean up any connected widgets as well.
Additional Options for Entry Restrictions
We've talked a lot about our Preview Control Panel. The Preview Control Panel allows you to test your visibility settings by simulating how your Campaign will appear to different sets of users, countries, dates, etc.
You can save views for one-click access later. These will appear under “Favorites” at the bottom of the panel.
Users may now disable entry restrictions within the live preview. The option to do so is in the preview/simulator panel.
Easily Edit Forms
We recently analyzed all of the Campaigns that have been built with ShortStack in the last year.
We weren't surprised to learn that 40% of the Campaigns built with the platform are promotions.
ShortStack's promotion widget/form is our most used feature, so we've made it easier for brands to edit the forms connected to their Campaigns straight from the builder.
By clicking on the pencil icon in the corner of your form you'll be taken straight to the Edit Promotion Form box.
Updates to the Video Widget
For users who are looking to include or collect videos on their Campaign, we've made it easier and increased our options for finding videos. We now provide the option to enter the Channel ID in the Video Widget in order to find videos.
This is especially valuable for users who use multiple YouTube channels.
