Use our pre-made landing page templates
Why reinvent the wheel? ShortStack landing page and contest templates allow you to take advantage of our team’s expertise. We created thoughtful, easy-to-use templates that will get you from start to finish fast. Just update the templates to fit your brand and marketing campaign guidelines, then publish.We offer 39 pre-made templates (and counting). This list includes common contest and landing page layouts, like sweepstakes, photo contests and newsletter sign-up templates, as well as some unique options, like our puzzle template, multi-day giveaway calendar, scratch and win, and pick your prize templates.
Create your own landing page templates
Do you find yourself using the same templates over and over again, and making the same changes every time? Save yourself even more time by making a template of your own! Create a fully customized template that fits your marketing needs so you can use it to make unlimited landing pages as you need them.You don’t even need to start with a ShortStack template. Instead, you could use the Blank landing page option to create something from scratch.
To create your own template:
- Open the landing page you wish to make into a template in the Builder.
- Click the name of the landing page in the upper left corner of the Builder.
- Click Make Template from Campaign.
- Follow the directions on the screen.
NOTE: The option to create custom templates is available on the Pro Plan and higher plans.
Take advantage of our email templates
When using ShortStack to send emails, we offer several email templates. These email templates are formatted to fit the contests and landing pages we offer with our landing page templates. They include merge fields that match form fields on the landing page templates so you can include email personalization, website and social media links and sample text. You can make the emails your own by simply updating the text, linking to your own website and social media pages, and adding an image or two.

Make the most of built-in themes
Design themes make it easy to apply global style changes to your landing pages. We offer 17 themes that are expertly designed by our graphic design team. With little effort, you can apply complimentary fonts and color schemes to your ShortStack landing pages and contests.
A few of ShortStack's built-in themesMaking updates to themes is possible within our Style Panel. Apply font updates or use color swatches to quickly change the overall theme colors to meet your brand guidelines. Alternatively, you can make changes to specific elements of the campaign using specific widget style options.
Design your own themes
Just like you can create your own templates, you can also create your own themes. This is especially helpful when you have brand guidelines you need to follow. Just adjust the Style Panel settings for one of your landing pages to fit your needs. Once you do that, you can save your changes as a new theme, which you can then apply to new landing pages that you create.
To create your own theme:
- Open the Builder for the landing page that includes the theme you customized and wish to save.
- Open the Style Panel.
- In the lower right corner of the Style Panel, click the icon with three vertical dots.
- Choose Add to My Themes.
- Name your theme in the popup.
- Click Save.
