Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication
At ShortStack, your security is a top priority. We provide Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an added layer of security beyond your account password. 2FA requires using a third-party app that generates a code to access your account after entering your credentials.
About
Setting up 2FA
Log in to your ShortStack account.
From the Home, click your name in the top-right and select Preferences.
In Username & Password, click Edit and check Enable two-factor authentication.
Use a compatible authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy) to scan the QR code or enter the secret key.
Enter the code generated by the app and click Save.
You'll see Two-factor authentication ENABLED once complete.
Logging in with 2FA
Go to ShortStack and click Login.
Enter your email and password.
Open the authenticator app and find the code.
Enter the code, click Validate, and access your account.
