Template Gallery

ShortStack's Template Gallery is the starting point for building a new campaign (unless you're starting with a copy of an existing campaign). It’s designed to make finding the perfect template quick and easy, but if you’d rather start from scratch, that option is available too.

Finding a template

The Template Gallery offers several tools for navigating and selecting templates:

Navigation options

Public/private/favorited

Choose from the following sections to filter templates:

  • Public: Templates built and provided by ShortStack for your use.

  • Private: Templates saved by you or your teammates.

  • Favorited: Templates you’ve favorited by clicking the heart icon associated with a template.

Filter by category

Use the Filter by Category dropdown to view templates in specific categories. By default, the gallery shows thumbnails for all templates. Selecting a category narrows the results to templates in that category.

Tip: Check the Keep Open box to keep the menu open while navigating templates and categories.

Search bar

If you know the name of the template you want to use (or have a general idea in mind), use the Search Bar:

  1. Type a keyword or template name.

  2. Press Enter/Return.

  3. Matching templates will display as thumbnails below.

Thumbnails/results

Templates matching your search or filtering criteria will appear as thumbnails below the search bar.

Click a thumbnail to display a working preview in the Preview Area. Click the heart icon next to a thumbnail to add that template to your list of favorited templates.

The right side of the Template Gallery is the Preview Area, where you can view and interact with templates.

Features

Width toggle

Click the expand icon to view the template in full width. Click the shrink icon to return to the default width.

Favorite (heart) button

Click the heart icon to add the displayed template to your favorites.

Previous/next buttons

Use these buttons to cycle through templates in your current filtered results.

The display will show the number of the currently displayed template and the total number of matching templates.

Use this template

Once you’ve selected a template, click the Use This Template button to start building your campaign. This will open the Campaign Builder with the chosen template as your base.
